Dow Jones Elliott Wave Analysis (10/03/2010) (Big Picture reviewed)

11th March 2010 by No Comments

This video is complimented by another review of the FTSE 100 market and a new video to come, showing a very convincing alternatice elliott wave count (in my opinion) to that of Robert Prechter. I think it is important to keep this in mind, as the FTSE 100 has broken a key technical level, I have had to review the long term picture and the arguments of Mr Prechter. As things stand, I think Mr. Prechter has miscalculated and is wrong about how far markets will fall. All is explained so please take a look. This is my interpretation using Technical Analysis and Elliott Wave Theory to look at the Dow Jones. Elliott wave is my preferred tool when looking at the stock market, I believe that it can work to reflect the “psychology” of the market quite accurately. I am NOT a very experienced trader or technical analyst, but I am very interest in developing my skills and welcome you to share your experienced and advice so that we may both learn from it. Nothing in this video should be taken as investment or trading advice.

10 ‘Do Not Think’s’ about trading the market

8th March 2010 by Simon No Comments

You can not expect to do well in the market if you look at investing in a normal way. By definition, being average is doing what most other people do and since investing is largely a psychological game, doing what other people do is only natural. Average results come from normal people acting in normal [...]

Elliott Wave Complex Correction Walkthrough (lesson)

26th February 2010 by No Comments

This really is my first lesson video on here. I know that yes the video is abit lengthy, but if you are completely new to Elliott wave and are looking for some advice about how to approach scary looking corrections… hopefully this video will help. I stress that Elliott Wave is NOT the holy grail so many traders are unfortunately sucked into looking for… it takes HARD WORK (I stress… hard work lol) and dedication, but well worth it once you learn how to use the techniques correctly. There is no real objective way of applying Elliott wave rules, so this video is basically a guide as to how I would go about labelling a very messy, very complicated pattern. The price action I am showing you how to label is VERY recent… so I have not just searched for some text book standard pattern, I have deliberately chosen this price action as it is very recent and also does NOT look like a typical text book example. The price action that is being labelled is between the dates of: 5th Feb 2010 23rd Feb 2010

Robert Prechter of Elliott Wave International is pretty sure that the Dow Jones will drop significantly from these levels. Don’t buy bonds, they are the biggest bubble !
