Short term reversal is probable here

In my previous blog post ‘Dow gets close to Feb lows’I mentioned we were due for an oversold reversal. This was a strong move up today so i’m thinking this could be the trigger day. I’m really waiting for the DOW to cross it’s 20 period moving average on it’s 6 month chart, with a large green candle day like this to get really BULLISH, but I’ve already started some ’starter’ positions with options in a few of some really oversold stocks and ETF’s. You can check out my twitter page (www.twitter.com/simonka) and scroll thru to see some of my trades i started last week. I’ll be adding to this list if the above can happen.

If the DOW triggers, then I will be SHORT TERM BULLISH.

I am still LONG TERM BEARISH as i stated in that previous post (see harry dent video), and will be looking for the exit on bullish trades and reversing directionas we near a new hi on DOW.

My friend Kris at www.prophetalerts.comcalled the exact top for the DOW in this article on April 17/10. Pretty Cool. I must stay the guy has an incredible intuition about the market, and knows how to read support and resistance levels very well!

Dow get’s close to Feb lows

We had another large selloff on the DOW today bringing us back close to February lows. Dow also closed below the 200 day moving average. I know i’ve been warning this market is overbought for the last couple months with some of the articles i’ve posted… but my feeling is that we get some massive short covering, and a bounce here soon. Just as the market has been overbought for the last couple months… not now it’s getting to the point where it’s very oversold. Short covering will happen soon, and when it does, we may rally hard close to our old Hi of the year.

In his latest update he maintains that the big money has only started to sell it’s positions off. Normally that big money likes to sell into a spike, so he see’s this large short covering rally hitting here soon, and a rise to near the top again….. before the REAL correction starts, possibly taking us to a DOW of under 5000, maybe even before December of 2010.

This one is really for the die hard stock market dudes out there. This audio gave me chills as i was listening to it. I watched the crash happen live as well, but i was in 2 chats at the time, and we were all typing back and forth furiously letting each other know whatwe heard. I didn’t have a TV near me so i had no audio.

Don Harrold masterfully puts together Ben Lichtenstein’s audio commentary into a video entitled “Market Implosion caught on Tape”, and the 2nd video below is Don’s interview with Ben.

Harry Dent’s video update for March 2010. No he didn’t predict a Greece riot, or a fat finger traders mistake (sure, i believe it, wink wink)… but he did predict the setup. We’ve had 3 false alarms now for a market reversal. One in July 09, one in Nov 09, and one in Feb 10… there is a very high probability that todays event is the real trigger. I guess we’ll see for sure in the coming weeks. All i can say is… trade safe.
